Dr. Blaney received his undergraduate degree at the United States Military Academy and his medical degree at Emory University. He went on to complete his surgical training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and spent the next four years in the Army as a staff surgeon at Fort Benning Georgia. He joined the group in September of 2003. Dr. Blaney is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an active member and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Blaney is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He is also an active member and fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He is the medical director of the Trinity Bariatric and Weight loss Center. He has special interests in advanced laparoscopy, endoscopy, bariatric surgery and reflux disease.
Charles Wispert, a 1984 graduate of MCG's PA program, is a member of the AAPA, Institute of Functional Medicine, and World Link Medical. With a background in urology, men’s health, and women’s urological disorders, he also has extensive experience in emergency medicine and orthopedics, including 22 years at a local Army Medical Center.
Charles is certified in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement and Age Management, and is passionate about evidence-based hormone therapy.
Donnetta Herold, a West Virginia University pharmacy graduate, works at a local pharmacy and is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach. She has completed functional medicine training through the Institute for Functional Medicine and School of Applied Functional Medicine. Donnetta is certified in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement.

Ashley London, a 2009 Mercer University graduate, and is a pharmacist in Augusta with expertise in specialty medications, compounding, and medication therapy management. After seeing patients struggle despite taking more medications, she turned to functional medicine to address root causes of health issues.
Ashley completed training through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and is passionate about metabolic disorders. Combining over 15 years of pharmacy experience with functional medicine, she helps patients achieve optimal wellness.
